Mr. President

As everybody already knows by now, Barack Obama was re-elected to be the president of the United States. Now, not some many people are happy about it, but I'm glad that he was re-elected. I have to be honest, I'm not into the political issues and that, but as we learned in class, how it really works and the point of views of each candidate, I'm glad that Obama won. I know enough that if candidate Romney would have won, I don’t know if my lifestyle would have changed a lot. I do know that he does not want any foreign in America, as well he does not support gay marriage. For a president not supporting gay marriage did surprise me, because how can a leader, not support a commitment that two people of the same gender want to make. It’s just playing dumb. For the world, I guess, its god that he won, because Obama is a good person and after all he did god things for the United States. Now, many people where for Romney but when we watched some interviews on people against Obama and then they said some ridicules thing about him, which makes them lower information voters. Now since 2008 I agreed with Obama, Yes we Can. (:

Time Management

A few weeks back, we were told to make some time management goals:
- Have enough time to study and have free time at the same day
- Make sure I turn everything in at due date
- Organize my time properly
Now, maybe some people think that making your schedule and keeping your time management, might be a waste of time. But when our teacher came into the class and talked about her experience about managing her time, I was just thinking that her problems of keep things organized was also one of my problems. In that same day we also did a time management survey, in which we wrote the amount of time we take in doing things. I can't remember the exact number that i had left to do my free time, but what I do remember is that it was low. Because of my goals, I have managed keeping enough time for my homework, turning in things at time and also having enough free time. My first goal was pretty hard to keep up with, because as I had my assignments I didn't put them into my calendar(in which I kept the time and when to do it) as the result of the calendar to fade away. Now, I plan to change that because instead of doing my own, I'm just going to use the given calendar at Edmodo. My second goal was pretty easy to maintain. At the end of the quarter I have turned every assignment at time. Pretty proud of me (: My last goal was pretty tricky, because as every human being, I like to procrastinate my homework or study, instead I go to Facebook or watch series online. But after all I was pretty happy with my results. I have made new goals and some the same:
- Have enough time to study and have free time at the same day
-Make sure that with the time that I have for my homework that I do the best that I can
-Make sure that I do my homework as well as study(enough time)

Future?

For many high school students, college is one of the main problems, surveying high school is another. As teachers always talk about college and your future, you really think about every possibility that you have. Now what I want to be is a whole other story. My future really depends in where I as a person stand. But once again, I have no idea what I’m going to do in my future. But truly, I have thought about going into a profession with the arts. One of my good skills is drawing; I could draw until the next day and the next. And as the teachers or others always tell us, we should do what we love. And I love drawing, maybe be an art teacher. From the presentation given to us about a college, I have come to realize, that high school is coming into its end in 4 years, its a long time, but it passes by fast. Sometimes I just wish for the time to stop and let us figure out what we want to do with our lives. Now being an aware academic leader, maybe good for your college application. You may have an intellectual feeling about what you want to do in your future; I think that is a good start. Enjoy life before its gets rocky (:

Academic Leadership?

As the two first week pass, we have read two articles that relate to the concept of academic leadership. For me, academic leadership is being individual and think about your future. In academic leadership I would personally think what I want to do in my future, sincerely I want to travel the world once im done with high school. But if I needed to chose a career right now, i wouldn't because I dont know what I want to do with my life. As I'm in the classes of academic leadership I would turn a major project into discovering what places I want to see and travel. If I look up interesting places of the world  and write details on each country and somebody was going to manipulate others with my work, I would personally be wondering why somebody would do that but I wouldn't make such big deal of it, I would just wait until it passes. But in the other hand, preventing such thing happening, I guess you could make a fair deal with the with the academically leaders. It might created a stronger democratic society because of the fair deal, you need to play by the rulers. So no cheating and getting others people articles. It might become a stronger since you need to have your own facts and not getting it from the other leader. And this is what I think about academic leadership.
